Part-time positions open. GREENVILLE RECREATION & PARKS DEPARTMENT. Youth Basketball Coaches and Referees. Greenville Recreation & Parks Department is recruiting youth basketball referees, coaches and scorekeepers for the 09-10 winter youth basketball program. Applicants must possess a good knowledge of basketball rules and/or have knowledge in officiating basketball games. Applicants must be able to officiate or score keep league games for ages 5-18. Games are played on various days (Monday-Saturday) and hours are flexible according to class schedule. This program will run from November 30 to early March. Scorekeepers will be paid $7.75/hour and officials will be paid $12/game. For more information, please contact the Athletic Office at 329-4550, Monday through Thursday 12 pm - 9 pm and Friday 12 pm - 7 pm. Student Legal Services will host a cell phone drive to benefit the Family Violence Center of Pitt County. The main collection site will be 1704-B Arlington Blvd. To assist the campus community, we have planned on-campus collections one time per month at the Wright Plaza. The collection dates at the Wright Plaza are from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the following dates: 9-24-09, 10-29-09, and 11-19-09. On 10/27/09, The Friends of Joyner Library will host Dr. Engel, who will discuss the fascinating life of Sir Walter Raleigh. This event is free for Friends of Joyner members and $10.00 for non-members. A dessert reception will begin at 7:00pm on the 2nd Floor of Joyner Library.
