The film stars Justin Bartha ("National Treasure," "Failure to Launch") as Doug, the groom, Bradley Cooper ("Wedding Crashers," "Yes Man") as Phil the married elementary school teacher who inspires most of the trouble the group gets themselves into, Ed Helms ("Evan Almighty," "Semi-Pro") as Stu, the reserved doctor/dentist and North Carolina native, Zach Galifianakis, ("Corky Romano," "What Happens in Vegas") as Alan, the brother-in-law-to-be who is a little bit weird but makes up for it with his humor.
After upgrading their room to a villa, the quartet start their night in Vegas on the roof of Caesars Palace with shots of Jagermeister, but little did they know they were drinking more than just liquor. The next morning, the trio, minus the groom, awake in a trashed hotel room with numerous surprises, including a baby, a missing tooth and a tiger in their bathroom. None of the three can remember what happened the night before, so they go on an uproarious scavenger hunt to put the pieces of the previous night back together. The three men set out to find or rescue their lost best friend in order to make it back to Los Angeles in time for his wedding.
The film is quirky, smart and will surely inspire many unforgettable trips to Vegas for grooms to come. Directed by Todd Phillips ("Old School," "Starsky & Hutch") the film is an instant classic with just as many memorable and quotable lines as "Talladega Nights: the Ballad of Ricky Bobby." This all-star cast has excellent on-screen chemistry that truly adds to their performance. If you haven't seen "The Hangover" yet, I suggest you get to theaters fast before it leaves the big screen.
