Students will get their chance to voice their concerns to Ballard by sticking notes to an oversized picture of Ballard, voicing their concerns about the university.
"We plan to get a big blow-up poster of Chancellor Ballard and hang it by Wright Plaza next to the Dowdy Student Stores," said Brad "Cornbread" Congleton, newly-elected SGA president.
"Then we will hand out note cards to students [and] they can write whatever concerns or issues they have with the university's current state."
After students write their issues and concerns on the note cards, they will "stick it" to the large Ballard poster.
"This will allow students to voice their issues to the Chancellor," Congleton said. "After the event, we plan to collect all the note cards posted. Then we will organize the note cards and report to the chancellor the voice of students at ECU."
This idea was approved last fall by the former SGA administration under president Drew Griffin.
"We hope this will be a success," said Griffin. "After meeting and explaining it with Chancellor Ballard, he favored the idea."
The goal of the program is for Ballard to receive feedback and input from students who normally do not have the chance to speak to him.
"We are planning to get the idea in action when we return in the fall," Congleton said.
"Once we are sworn in, we'll get to business on putting this and our other goals into action," Congleton said.
The newly-elected SGA officers will be sworn in on April 26.
Along with "stick it" to Steve, the new SGA administration also plans to install safety walks on campus, collaborate with organizations on campus and have an open door policy to all students.

Unfortunately, I doubt Ballard will listen to suggestions such as "Quit."
