The Full Nelson, a new full service bar that opened to downtown Greenville last Thursday, offers a variety of choices to its customers.

Located on the corner of Fifth and Evans Streets, it offers a variety of food choices ranging from spaghetti to seasoned pork chops.

Manager Orinzo Barnhill hopes that the laid-back, lounge-like atmosphere of The Full Nelson will give customers a place to relax.

"I just want to please my customers. Whatever they want I want to provide for them," said Barnhill.

Barnhill started the weekend with a Super Bowl menu that included hamburgers, hotdogs, wings, pork chop sandwiches, nachos and sweet and sour chicken legs. Any of his customers that were looking for a place to watch the game were welcomed to come eat and watch the Cardinals and Steelers square off.

The Full Nelson's everyday menu consists of drinks (ranging from tea to mixed drinks), appetizers (a mixture of calamari, fried oysters, stuffed mushrooms and barbecue shrimp) and the main squeeze.

The main squeeze--the entrée menu--includes steak and shrimp, meat loaf, fish and chips, stuffed chicken breast, spaghetti with meat sauce, seasoned pork chops and barbecue chicken legs.

Good food is just a taste of what The Full Nelson looks to bring to its customers.

The Full Nelson offers an at-home feel by welcoming all its customers as they walk in the door. "It all started at home. Now we are here and business is going well," Barnhill said.

The Full Nelson is open during lunch hours throughout the week and on weekends until 2 a.m.
