Chancellor Emeritus of East Carolina University to speak at breakfast

The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce and the Office of the Mayor, City of Greenville, invite the public to the Community Unity Breakfast on Monday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 a.m. at the Murphy Center on the athletic campus of East Carolina University.
The theme of this year's Community Unity Breakfast is "Looking Forward to Tomorrow, A
Season for Change." Dr. Richard R. Eakin, Chancellor Emeritus of East Carolina University will be the keynote speaker.
Under the leadership of Dr. Eakin, the university completed its first major capital campaign, which raised more than $55 million. Dr. Eakin also oversaw the creation of the Board of Visitors to enhance support and advocacy for the university.
The campus also underwent millions of dollars of new construction projects and major renovations.
