Sup Dogs will be hosting a canned food drive in efforts to support needy families in Greenville. The public can bring in any canned food or non-perishable item and receive a free Sup Dog hot dog with any food purchase. The drive will last until Dec. 20 and all collections will be donated to needy families in Pitt Co.

Sup Dogs is located in downtown Greenville at the former location of La Vista's, across from BackDoor Skate Shop and Rehab Lounge. When the idea of a canned food drive was suggested, owner Derek Oliverio agreed that it was a great idea to help the community, especially during the holiday season. Oliverio hopes the food drive will be a success and may consider running other food drives in the future. Sup Dogs is open Sundays from 11 a.m.-12:30 a.m., Mondays through Wednesdays from 11 a.m.-2:30 a.m. and Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m.-3 a.m.
