Pirates: Hanna is coming

Hurricane Hanna is promising Pirates a wet weekend. Scheduled to hit ECU Saturday morning, Hanna is forcing activities all over campus to come to a halt.
The number one question on everyone's mind is, what will happen with the football game vs. West Virginia on Saturday?
Currently, the game is on for its scheduled time, 4:30 p.m.
Many other campus activities, however, were forced to cancel. Regular campus schedules are still in effect Friday until 5 p.m., however, evening classes are cancelled.
Joyner Library will close at 5 p.m. and is scheduled to reopen at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Reade Street Market in West End Dining Hall and the Galley inside Jones Residence Hall will remain open until 10 p.m., unless conditions require an early closing.
All dining halls are scheduled to open at noon on Saturday.
Students can visit www.ecu.edu/dining or call ECU-2EAT for updates.
ECU's SafeRide will end operations at 9 p.m. and the Pirate Express will not run Friday evening. Students can visit transit.ecu.edu or dial 328-BUS1 for more information regarding student transit.
Mendenhall Student Center will close at 9 p.m. Friday and is scheduled to resume normal operating hours on Saturday at noon. The Late Nite movies are cancelled Friday and are rescheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Bowling and billiards will be open until 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Students may consult the MSC Hotline at 328-6004 for updates.
Also, the Dean of Students call center will be open until 5 p.m. Friday to respond to concerned students and parents. The Call Center number is 737-3000.
Students are reminded not to park vehicles in low-lying areas. Vehicles parked on lower College Hill Drive and the lower Minges lot should be moved to avoid flooding. Students should also avoid parking under trees.
ITCS has also issued a warning to students to move computers and other equipment away from windows and off floors.

Thats crazy. The pirates are awesome. Hopefully they'll still be able to play.
