Five NC bands compete for a chance to play ‘Barefoot’
The Student Activity Board’s Entertainment Committee invites all of ECU to witness the 2010 Battle of the Bands, which will take place Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. and will be free for all ECU students. Out of about 16 demos submitted from across North Carolina, the committee selected five bands to perform for the competition.

Tim Burton’s new film, “Alice in Wonderland,” was released March 5 and came in first at the box office, grossing over $116 million on the first weekend. “Alice in Wonderland” is also at the top of the box office charts in the UK and has grossed more money across the world than it has domestically.
